Mary Ann Webb

Mary Ann Nixon Webb, 78, of Advance, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 5, 2023, at her home.

She was born Dec. 15, 1944, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Arby and Gertrude Rothman Nixon. She and Michael Webb were married on April 23, 1997, in Jackson. He preceded her in death in 2012.

She was a member of Emerald Church of God, before moving to Delta. There she helped out at Amen Center. She was a counselor and Sunday school teacher. She enjoyed helping direct the people to the Lord.

Survivors include three sons, Danny (Shirley) Hollowell of Delta, Gregory Hollowell of Doniphan, Missouri, and Scottie (Lisa) Hollowell of Cape Girardeau; four stepdaughters, Deana (Roy) Heise, Emily (Steven) Criddle, Mandy (Shawn) Rutherford, all of Cape Girardeau, and Christina (Jim) Vetter of Benton, Missouri; 22 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Kenneth Ray Nixon; and sister, Loretta Nixon Murray.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Oct. 11, at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

Funeral will follow at the funeral home. Burial will be at Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
