Mary Ann Mathis — beloved Mary Ann — passed away Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2023, at the age of 64.

She was born March 12, 1959, to her late parents Goldie Imogene Finney and Raymond Grasham in St. Louis.

Mary Ann was a Lilbourn (Missouri) High School graduate, Class of '77. On Oct. 22, 1988, she tied the knot with her soul mate, James Mathis. Together, they created a world filled with love and endless laughter. Mary Ann loved her "crazy" husband.

As a mom, Mary Ann poured her heart and soul into raising her daughter, Elizabeth Mathis Gonzales. The bond they shared was unbreakable, and their precious moments together will be cherished for a lifetime. Mary Ann also loved spending time with her son-in-law, Brandon, especially during their epic barbecues! Brandon always found a way to make Mary Ann laugh.

When Mary Ann wanted to unwind, you could find her glued to the TV, passionately binge-watching shows like "Yellowstone", or her favorite channels, Lifetime and Hallmark. She also loved true crime documentaries and watching heartwarming stories on each new season of "Queer Eye" with her daughter. And let's not forget her furry grandbabies — Evie, Turk and Buster — who were the apple of her eye. Mary Ann also had an impressive collection of purses that would make any fashionista envious.
