Mary Ann Lottes, 78, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2010, at Southeast Missouri Hospital. She was born June 4, 1931, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of George Lawrence and Olivia Josephine Strack Weber. She and Dennis Edward Lottes were married Oct. 4, 1948, at Scott City. Mary Ann Lottes, 78, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2010, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born June 4, 1931, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of George Lawrence and Olivia Josephine Strack Weber. She and Dennis Edward Lottes were married Oct. 4, 1948, at Scott City. He died Dec. 29, 1985.

Mary Ann was a graduate of Fornfelt High School. She was payroll supervisor 30 years with Drury Co.

She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and formerly St. Mary's Cathedral and Immaculate Conception Church. She had also been a member of St. Mary's Ladies Auxiliary and St. Ann's Sodality, was active at St. Mary's School with her children, and was St. Mary's Mother's Club president. She was also a leader with Campster 4-H Club.

Survivors include four daughters, Diane (Vince) Diebold of Jackson, Debbie (Todd) Doemel of Jacksonville, Fla., Denise (Rich) Siebert and Laura (Fred) Brown of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Richard Weber of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Lorita (Ray) Hamilton of Cheyenne, Wyo., and Kathleen (Jerry) Drury of Cape Girardeau.

Also two sisters-in-law, Doris (Gene) Hahn of Kansas City, Mo., Mary Ann Clark of Colorado Springs, Colo.; 11 grandchildren, Sarah (Christian) Oldenburg, Scott Doemel, Michael Siebert, Travis (Laura) Siebert, Amanda Siebert, Mindy Siebert, Joseph Siebert, Annie Siebert, Thomas Siebert, Shelby Ray, Rebecca Ray; and a great-grandchild, Mia.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a brother, Bernard Weber; a sister, Theresa Weber; a granddaughter, Samantha Elizabeth Doemel; and a sister-in-law, Mary Ann Ressel Weber.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, and 9 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home. Parish prayers will be at 7 p.m. Friday.

Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Vincent de Paul Church, with the Rev. Saviour Nundwe officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
