Mary Ann Dannenmueller

ORAN, Mo. -- Mary Ann Dannenmueller, 86, of Oran passed away Sunday, March 5, 2017, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Jan. 25, 1931, in Oran to the late Albert and Rosalia Welter Dannenmueller.

Mary Ann formerly worked at V.I.P. Industry in Sikeston, Missouri. She was a member of Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Oran. Mary Ann enjoyed babysitting many of her nieces and nephews, and she also loved embroidery, puzzle solving and playing rummy.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Cornelius and Leroy Dannenmueller, and three sisters, Velma Eftink, Lavana LeGrand and Ella Dannenmueller.

Survivors include one brother, Alfred (Dolly) Dannenmuller of Pittsburgh; two sisters, Viola Dirnberger of Cape Girardeau and Bertha Lloyd of St. Charles, Missouri; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Oran. Parish rosary will be at 7 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Oran, with the Rev. Randy Tochtrop officiating.

Burial will be at Guardian Angel Catholic Cemetery in Oran.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Guardian Angel Catholic School.
