CHAFFEE -- Mary Ann Trankle, 90, Chaffee Route 2, died Sunday, May 28, 1995, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born April 4, 1905, at Leopold, daughter of John and Anna Niebur Schreckenberg. She and Joseph Frank Trankle were married Sept. 14, 1937. He died July 6, 1989...

CHAFFEE -- Mary Ann Trankle, 90, Chaffee Route 2, died Sunday, May 28, 1995, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born April 4, 1905, at Leopold, daughter of John and Anna Niebur Schreckenberg. She and Joseph Frank Trankle were married Sept. 14, 1937. He died July 6, 1989.

Trankle was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church and Daughters of St. Ambrose.

Survivors include a daughter, Jo Ann Van De Ven of Cape Girardeau; four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee after 4 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be at 7.

Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Ambrose Church, with the Rev. Allan Saunders officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Catholic Cemetery at Leopold.
