TAMMS, Ill. -- Mary A. Davis, 78, of Tamms, Ill., died Sunday, March 20, 1994, at her son's residence in Marion, Ill.
She was born Aug. 31, 1915, at Tamms, daughter of Harry and Nellie Cox Honey.
She married Clifford H. Davis, June 2, 1934. He died Feb. 16, 1987.
Davis was a member of the First Baptist Church in Tamms, where she was active in W.M.U. She was also a member of the Home Extension and Happy Hours Senior Citizens.
Survivors include three sons, Bruce Davis of Mundeline, Ill., Keith Davis of St. Peters, Mo., Wayne Davis of Marion, Ill.; a daughter, Carol Frazier of Gilbertsville, Ky.; a brother, Lorn Honey of Tamms; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and four brothers.
Friends may call from 5-9 p.m. today, and until the time of funeral services on Tuesday at the Crain Funeral Home in Tamms.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Crain Funeral Home in Tamms, with the Rev. Verlee Eaker officiating.
Burial will follow in the Green Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Villa Ridge.
