GRAND CHAIN, Ill. -- Funeral service for Marvin Wartenbe of Grand Chain will be held at 1 p.m. today at Karnak Pentecostal Church, with the Rev. J.R. Woods officiating. Burial will be in Jonesboro Cemetery.
Friends may call at the church from noon to service time.
Crain Funeral Home of Tamms is in charge of arrangements.
Wartenbe, 46, died Monday, Feb. 27, 1995, in an automobile accident.
He was born Jan. 1, 1949, in Springfield, son of Alonzo and Wilma Mueller Wartenbe. He and Patricia Wild were married July 29, 1974.
Wartenbe was a bus driver for Shawnee Development Council, and had been a certified nurse assistant in several area nursing homes. He was a member of Karnak Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Deanna of Grand Chain; his parents of Springfield; three brothers, Pat, Ron and Ray Wartenbe of Springfield.
