Marvin Glen Michelson, 73, of Millersville died Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012, at his home.
He was born July 13, 1939, in Kanawha, Iowa, to Raymond Glen and Ardith Mae Berhow Michelson. He and Barbara L. Clayton were married July 24, 1960, in Klemme, Iowa.
Marvin graduated from Klemme High School. He was a carpenter by trade specializing in residential construction.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara of Millersville; three sons, Clayton (Kim) Michelson of Innsbrook, Mo., Steven (Donna) Michelson of Millersville and Curtis (Mary) Michelson of Oak Ridge; a daughter, Kimberly (Mike) Mangels of Millersville; a brother, Doyce Michelson of Mount Pleasant, Iowa; three sisters, Sandra Smith of Liberty, Mo., Karen Hanig of Wesley, Iowa, Linda Barton of Salem, Iowa; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Greg Dowler officiating. Burial will be at Crossroads Methodist Church Cemetery.
