Marvin Link

ADVANCE, Mo. -- Marvin M. Link, son of the late Cletus and Willa Dean McDowell Link, was born on July 8, 1938, in Toppertown, Missouri, and departed this life Wednesday, April 27, 2016, at his home in Advance at the age of 77.

Link worked for Inland Shoe Co. in Advance and Parma, Missouri, for 25 years, and he also worked as a farmer, raising cattle and hogs.

He is survived by a daughter, Robbin (Tim) Nesler of Advance, and by his good friend, Carol Patterson of Advance.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.

The funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral chapel, with the Rev. William Fox officiating. Interment will be in North Antioch Cemetery in rural Bloomfield, Missouri.
