Marvin Henry Headrick, 84, 1559 Grandview, died Monday, March 18, 1996, at John J. Pershing VA Medical Center in Poplar Bluff.
He was born Sept. 13, 1911, at Jackson, son of Elijah and Eva Cora Williams Headrick. He and Vay Shoults were married Nov. 10, 1945, in Marion, Ark.
Headrick was a self-employed painter, retiring in 1960. He was a member of American Legion Post 63 and Disabled American Veterans. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife.
He was preceded in death by a brother and sister.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Bonnie Sparks officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery, with graveside service by American Legion Post 63.
