PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Marvin L. Hansen, 91, of Perryville died Tuesday, June 26, 2018, at Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau.
He was born in Perry County, Missouri, Aug. 24, 1926, to John and Florence P. Kannawarf Hansen. He and Arleen Oehlert married Nov. 17, 1951. She survives in Perryville.
Marvin was an auto mechanic and part owner of Vintage Automotive in Perryville. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville, the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include two sons and one daughter, Mira (Roger) Tucker, Kerry (Michelle) Hansen and Kerby Hansen, all of Perryville; three grandchildren, Brandon (Cynthia) Tucker of Chula Vista, California, Jonathan (Kelly) Tucker of Oak Ridge and Tyler Hansen of Perryville; and two great-grandchildren, Alyss Tucker of Oak Ridge and Dahlia Tucker of Chula Vista.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Willard Hansen.
Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday at Young and Sons Funeral Home.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Matthew Marks officiating. Burial will be in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Perryville, with military graveside service provided by the VFW and Delta Team.
Memorials are preferred to Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau.
