OLIVE BRANCH, Ill. -- Marvin A. Holder, 87, of Olive Branch, died Monday, April 3, 1995, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Nov. 27, 1907, in Harrison, Ark., son of Perry and Florence Smythe Holder Sr. He and Ruth Haws were married Oct. 15, 1983.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Kenneth, Perry and Houston Holder of Harrison; four stepsons, Mark and Hanna Ashworth of Olive Branch, Billy Ashworth of Cairo, Ronnie Ashworth of East Cape Girardeau; a stepdaughter, Patsy Steele of Jacksonville; five grandchildren; 25 stepgrandchildren; 31 great-stepgrandchildren, and three great-great-stepgrandchildren.
Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms after 6 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Tony Ashworth and Spillman Britt officiating. Burial will be in Beechwood Cemetery at Mounds.
