PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Martin "Shorty" V. Bohnert, 91, of Perryville died Friday, June 17, 2022, at Holiday Residential Care surrounded by his family.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Ford and Young Funeral Home in Perryville. The American Legion wake service will take place at 6:30 p.m. Visitation will continue from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville with the Rev. Joe Geders, C.M., officiating. Burial with military graveside honors by the American Legion Post 133 and the United States Marine Corps will be at Mount Hope Cemetery in Perryville.
