SIKESTON, Mo. -- Funeral for Martha Jane Wilkins of Sikeston will be held at 1 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Dewayne Coleman will officiate. Burial will be in Matthews Cemetery at Matthews.

Friends may call at the chapel from 11 a.m. until service time.

Wilkins, 73, died Tuesday, June 20, 2000, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

She was born Jan. 6, 1927, in Canalou, daughter of W.D. and Lola Pearl Childs Heath.

Survivors include a son, Gary Wilkins of Sikeston; two daughters, Joyce Theriot of New Iberia, La., Ruth Wilkins of Pittsburg, Calif.; two granddaughters; and a great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, and two sisters.
