JACKSON -- Funeral service for Martha Ury of Jackson will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel in Cape Girardeau. The Rev. Eddie Dodson will officiate, with burial in Lindsey Cemetery at McClure, Ill.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.
Ury, 74, died Thursday, July 14, 1994, at the Lutheran Home.
She was born Sept. 26, 1919, in Elco, Ill., daughter of John and Eva Goodman Verble. She and Clayton Ury were married Oct. 8, 1941, in Charleston.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Carolyn Harpole of Alton, Ill., Janice Washburn of Decatur, Ill.; three sisters, Mabel Baugher of McClure, Pearl Roth and Margaret Fornkohl of Cape Girardeau; four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
