MARTHA THELE

MARBLE HILL -- Martha M. Thele, 83, Marble Hill Route 2, died Wednesday, March 29, 2000, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born March 19, 1917, at Leopold, daughter of Ben and Elizabeth Wubker Broshuis. She and Edward Henry Thele were married Sept. 8, 1943, at Leopold.

Thele was a member of St. John's Catholic Church at Leopold and its Ladies Sodality.

Survivors include three sons, Allen, Loren and Melvin Thele, all of Marble Hill; and a brother, Ben Broshuis of Jackson.

She was preceded in death by four sisters and a brother.

Friends may call at Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill from 4-9 p.m. today. A prayer service will be held at 7:30.

Funeral Mass will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. John's Church, with the Rev. Bill Huggins officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
