PERRYVILLE -- Martha A. Sittner, 99, of Perryville, died Tuesday, July 30, 1996, at Perry County Nursing Home. She was born March 15, 1897, at Frohna, daughter of August and Wilhelmina Ruehling Oberndorfer. She and William H. Sittner were married Dec. 22, 1919. He died Oct. 12, 1985...

PERRYVILLE -- Martha A. Sittner, 99, of Perryville, died Tuesday, July 30, 1996, at Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born March 15, 1897, at Frohna, daughter of August and Wilhelmina Ruehling Oberndorfer. She and William H. Sittner were married Dec. 22, 1919. He died Oct. 12, 1985.

Sittner was co-owner of Brazeau Grocery Store and Barber Shop. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Concordia Ladies Aid, and American Legion Auxiliary.

Survivors include nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sisters and six brothers.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. today, and Friday from 6:30-8:30 a.m.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Immanuel Church, with the Rev. Donald Loesch officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
