PATTON, Mo. -- Martha Mae Kabat, 75, of Patton died Tuesday, May 13, 2008, at her home. She was born Feb. 22, 1933, at Russellville, Ark., daughter of Luther Davis and Etta Ross Strac¿ner. She and Bernard John Kabat were married Aug. 9, 1974. He died June 24, 2005...

PATTON, Mo. -- Martha Mae Kabat, 75, of Patton died Tuesday, May 13, 2008, at her home.

She was born Feb. 22, 1933, at Russellville, Ark., daughter of Luther Davis and Etta Ross Strac¿ner. She and Bernard John Kabat were married Aug. 9, 1974. He died June 24, 2005.

She had been a greeter at Wal-Mart.

Survivors include two sons, Stephen Barone of Henderson, Ky., Chris Barone of St. Louis; three daughters, Nancy Barone of Paragould, Ark., Deborah Barone of Patton, Cynthia Shivers of Barnhart, Mo.; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a stepson.

Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to service time today at Liley Funeral Home in Patton.

The funeral will be at noon Thursday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Jeff Garland and Lee Myers officiating. Burial will be in Patton Cemetery.
