CHARLESTON, Mo. -- Martha Louise Bryant, 85, of Charleston died Monday, Feb. 20, 2006, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Mo.
She was born July 5, 1920, in Cairo, Ill., daughter of Neil and Irma Edwards. She married Blaine Bryant, who preceded her in death.
Bryant lived in Cairo most of her life, moving to Charleston in 2001.
Survivors include a son, Stephen Bryant of Bloomington, Ind.; two daughters, Nancy Hillhouse of Charleston, Marilyn "Bunny" Shumaker of Kennesaw, Ga.; a sister, Patricia Ryan of Cairo; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister and a grandson.
Friends may call at Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Cairo.
