OLMSTED, Ill. -- Marsha Lynn Rose, 56, of Olmsted died Sunday, Dec. 19, 1999, at Massac Memorial Hospital in Metropolis. She was born Oct. 26, 1943, in Pulaski County, daughter of Raymond and May Pope Mathis. She married Elmer Rose. Rose had worked at Crain Enterprises in Mound City for 25 years. OLMSTED, Ill. -- Marsha Lynn Rose, 56, of Olmsted died Sunday, Dec. 19, 1999, at Massac Memorial Hospital in Metropolis.

She was born Oct. 26, 1943, in Pulaski County, daughter of Raymond and May Pope Mathis. She married Elmer Rose.

Rose had worked at Crain Enterprises in Mound City for 25 years. She was a member of Olmsted United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Steven Rose of Dickson, Tenn., Darrin Rose of Olmsted; a sister, Louise Blasdel of Grand Chain; two brothers, Charles Mathis of Cupertino, Calif., Lloyd Mathis of Paducah, Ky.; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends may call at Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak from 5-9 p.m. Wednesday.

Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Joey Dunning officiating. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery.
