ADVANCE, Mo. -- Marlene Wiseman, 71, of Advance died Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2005, at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter, from injuries received in a fire at her home. She was born Aug. 8, 1934, in Brownwood, Mo., daughter of Ben and Novella Dunivan Kirk. She and Odell Wiseman were married Nov. 10, 1951, in Piggott, Ark. He died Nov. 28, 2003...

ADVANCE, Mo. -- Marlene Wiseman, 71, of Advance died Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2005, at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter, from injuries received in a fire at her home.

She was born Aug. 8, 1934, in Brownwood, Mo., daughter of Ben and Novella Dunivan Kirk. She and Odell Wiseman were married Nov. 10, 1951, in Piggott, Ark. He died Nov. 28, 2003.

Survivors include two sons, Ronnie and Terry Wiseman of Advance; a sister, Jane Jordan of Powe, Mo.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. today.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ray Placher officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park.
