ANNA, Ill. -- Mark Ford, 35, of Anna died Sunday, Oct. 20, 1996, at his home, following an extended illness.
He was born Jan. 18, 1961, in Cairo, son of Bill J. and Ruth Rink Ford.
Ford was a carpenter and construction worker in New Orleans for a time, and most recently was a maintenance worker at Country Village Apartments. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Cairo, St. Mary's Catholic Church in Anna, and Knights of Columbus.
Survivors include a son, Zachariah; a stepson, Andrew; his parents of Anna; two brothers, Mike Ford of Anna, Jeff Ford of Charleston, Mo.; a sister, Amy King of Buncombe; and maternal grandmother, Anna Rink of Anna.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather.
Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Anna from 6-8 p.m. today. The rosary will be at 7.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Church, with the Rev. Tom Miller officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery at Villa Ridge.
