Marjorie I. Massie, 87, of Dupo, Ill., died Friday, May 2, 2008, at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, Ill.

She was born Jan. 12, 1921, in Scott City, daughter of Gordon and Iva Estella Jones Tapp. She married Henry Lee Massie, who preceded her in death.

Marjorie was a member of Evangel Assembly of God Church in Columbia, Ill.

Survivors include two sons, Charles (Karen) Massie of Fairview Heights, Ill., Gary (Sandy) Massie of Dupo; a daughter, Beverly (Mike) Pulcher of Dupo; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers and sisters.

The funeral was held Wednesday at Dashner-Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, with the Revs. Paul Rose and Wayne Welborn officiating. Burial was in Palmier Hill Cemetery in Columbia.
