SIKESTON, Mo. -- Marjorie "Marge" Marable, 86, of Sikeston died Wednesday, June 13, 2001, at Missouri Delta Medical Center. She was born April 28, 1915, in Rochester, Ind., daughter of Robert David and Elizabeth Joy Mow. She and John Robert Marable were married Nov. 28, 1937. He died Jan. 22, 1982...

SIKESTON, Mo. -- Marjorie "Marge" Marable, 86, of Sikeston died Wednesday, June 13, 2001, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

She was born April 28, 1915, in Rochester, Ind., daughter of Robert David and Elizabeth Joy Mow. She and John Robert Marable were married Nov. 28, 1937. He died Jan. 22, 1982.

Marable was a graduate of William Woods College at Fulton, Mo. She lived in Scott and Mississippi counties most of her life. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. She was formerly of Charleston, Mo.

Survivors include a daughter, Martha "Pudge" Wilson of Sikeston; and three grandsons.

She was preceded in death by a brother.

Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston after 9:30 a.m. Saturday.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Dr. Jim Davis officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery.
