MARJORIE LOU ABNER

ADVANCE -- Marjorie Lou Abner, 68, of Aurora, Ill., formerly of Advance, died Saturday, Dec. 23, 1995, at her home. She was born Oct. 4, 1927, at Dongola, Mo., daughter of Homer and Cecil Elledge Murphy.

She was a homemaker and a member of the former TNT Club of Advance.

She married Lester Abner in July 1969 at Marble Hill.

Survivors include her husband; three sons, Ben Morgan of Salt Lake City, Bill Morgan Jr. of Advance and Ford Morgan of Green Cove Springs, Fla.; a daughter, Mia Lou Abner of Aurora; a brother, Jack Murphy of Carlyle, Ill.; two sisters, Sherrie Patterson and Sharon Abbott, both of Dexter; and nine grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Arvil Huffman officiating.

Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
