Marjorie A. Hecht, 64, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, Dec. 2, 1998, at her home. She was born March 3, 1934, in Perry County, daughter of Frank and Ada Dunn Martin. She and Dean R. Hecht were married July 5, 1952, near Longtown. Hecht owned and operated Cape Answering Service 25 years, retiring in 1988. She was a charter member of St. Mark Lutheran Church...

Marjorie A. Hecht, 64, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, Dec. 2, 1998, at her home.

She was born March 3, 1934, in Perry County, daughter of Frank and Ada Dunn Martin. She and Dean R. Hecht were married July 5, 1952, near Longtown.

Hecht owned and operated Cape Answering Service 25 years, retiring in 1988. She was a charter member of St. Mark Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Kimberly Bremmer of Bremerton, Wash.; a brother, Earl Martin of Perryville; a sister, Juanita Bohnert of Longtown; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant son, a daughter, and a brother.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Robert Klein Sr. officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park.
