Marjorie Melba Foister, 79, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, Feb. 3, 2002, at her home.
She was born Aug. 14, 1922, at Jackson, Mo., daughter of Charles E. and Ruby A. Scheper Stone. She and Lyman R. "R.L." Foister were married Sept. 28, 1945, in Cape Girardeau. He died Aug. 26, 1980.
Foister was a member of Calvary Temple Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Jacquelyn Duncan of De Soto, Mo., Lindy Brumbaugh of Fenton, Mo.; two sisters, Wilma Cupler of Fenton, Carmelita Raglin of Cape Girardeau; a brother, William Stone of Cape Girardeau; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Funeral Home from 1 to 9 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Jack Cathcart will officiate. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery at Jackson.
