MARJORIE C. WADLINGTON

Marjorie Celestine Wadlington, 76, 732 N. Middle, died Saturday, Sept. 7, 1991, at Chateau Girardeau Health Center.

She was born July 18, 1915, at Ancell, daughter of William and Colletta Enderle Welter. She and Elbert "Pete" Wadlington were married Jan. 31, 1936.

She had lived in Cape Girardeau 40 years.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Gary Wadlington of Crystal Lake, Ill., Dick Wadlington of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Nancy Green of El Paso, Texas; six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Wadlington in 1980, and a brother, Richard Welter.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. The Rev. William Dickey will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. Monday.
