MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Marion W. Stevens, 57, of Marble Hill died Wednesday, April 25, 2001, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
He was born March 15, 1944, in Marble Hill, son of Marion Pinkney and Eula Baugher Stevens.
Stevens was a mechanic at LeeRowan. He was a member of Elks and National Rifle Association.
Survivors include his wife, Myrtle Daniels; a son, Jeff Stevens of Jackson, Mo.; three stepdaughters, Daphne Lovall and Sheree Commons of Henderson, Texas, Kam Bounds of Whitehouse, Texas; a brother, David Stevens of Marble Hill; six sisters, Vanna Beard, Vernadine Angel, Maxine Brotherton, Shirley Thele, Brenda Mason and Viola Moore, all of Marble Hill; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Fred Ritter officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery near Scopus, Mo.
