MARBLE HILL -- Funeral service for Marion L. Myers of Marble Hill will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Baker Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Bill Myers will officiate, with burial in Dry Creek Cemetery near here.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. today.

Myers, 88, died Monday, March 21, 1994, at a hospital in Mexico, Mo.

He was born Dec. 11, 1905, in Bollinger County, son of Charles H. and Pernecia Eaker Myers. He and Alice Chadd were married Oct. 16, 1926. She died April 25, 1980. He and Gertie Musgraves were married Feb. 29, 1988. She died Dec. 31, 1990.

Myers was a retired farmer, and served eight years as Bollinger County assessor. He was a member of Odd Fellows and Dry Creek Cemetery Association.

Survivors include three sons, C.H. Myers of Freeburg, Ill., Jack Myers of Paducah, Ky., Joe Myers of Markham, Ill.; a daughter, Necie Bennett of Madison; three brothers, Clyde and Floyd Myers of Granite City, Ill., Bob Myers of Jackson; a sister, Fern Hacke of Granite City; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren, and a great-stepgrandchild.
