Marion Helene Henry, 89, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Sept. 1, 1997, at Chateau Girardeau Health Center.
She was born June 20, 1908, in Syracuse, N.Y., daughter of Augustus J. and Dorothea M. Hulsebus Koch. She and James Henry were married Aug. 12, 1931, in Syracuse. He died Dec. 30, 1981.
During the 1950s Henry worked at Addis women's store in Syracuse.
She lived in Cape Girardeau from 1980-84, moved to Punta Gorde, Fla., in 1985, and returned to Cape Girardeau in 1992. She was a charter member of Burnt Store Road Presbyterian Church in Punta Gorde.
Survivors include a son, James Henry III of Port Charlotte, Fla.; a daughter, Ann Parkinson of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Elizabeth Gray of Syracuse; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in The Woodlawn Cemetery in Syracuse.
A memorial service will be held later in Cape Girardeau.
