GRANITE CITY, Ill. -- Marion Gene Farrow, 69, of Granite City passed away at 2:15 p.m. Saturday, March 7, 2020, at his home, while under hospice care.

He was born Aug. 27, 1950, in Arlington, Kentucky, to the late Velma Hoskins Sheeley and Marion Charles Farrow.

Marion had been a medical lab technologist and was a U.S. Navy veteran. He was an outdoorsman and loved to hunt and trap and was a National Rifle Association mentor.

He is survived by his wife, Madonna Repple Farrow, and two sons, Charles Marion Farrow and Patrick Farrow, all of Granite City; a stepbrother, Jake Sheeley of Barnhart, Missouri; and a stepsister, Cindy Sheeley-Szymanski of St. Louis.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Anita Bakos and Jerone Farrow; and a stepsister, Tammy Sheeley.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Wojstrom Funeral Home and Crematory.

Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Arlington Cemetery in Arlington, Kentucky.
