PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Marion C. Buerck, 84, of Perryville, died Sunday, July 15, 2006, at the Perry County Nursing Home in Perryville.
He was born Sept. 12, 1921, in Menfro, Mo., son of Oscar and Gertrude Hogard Buerck. He and Mildred Regelsperger were married April 7, 1945.
Buerck was a retired carpenter and farmer. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Holy Name Society, VFW Post 4282, a former member of the American Legion Post 133 and an Army Air Corp Veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred Buerck of Perryville; three sons, Stephen Buerck of Perryville, Charles Buerck of Farmington and John Buerck of Smithton, Ill.; two daughters, Barbara Ernst and Jacqueline Schumer, both of Perryville; two brothers, Earl Buerck of Cape Girardeau and Leon Buerck of Ohio; 13 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, a sister and a brother.
Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today with a parish wake at 7 p.m., and from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Young and Sons Funeral Chapel in Perryville.
Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with the Rev. Kevin Fausz officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
