ORAN, Mo. -- Marina Lorena Klipfel, 82, of Oran died Wednesday, June 23, 2004, at Chaffee Nursing Center in Chaffee, Mo.
She was born March 27, 1922, at New Hamburg, Mo., daughter of Joseph Nicholas and Coletta Theresa Baudendistel Welter. She and William Leo Klipfel were married Jan, 8, 1946. He died June 15, 1976.
Klipfel retired as a machine operator at Car Binding Co. in Oran, and then was a part-time teachers aide at Oran Elementary School. She was a member of Guardian Angel Catholic Church, St. Ann Sodality, Knights of Columbus Ettes Council 4311, and past chaplain of VFW Ladies Auxiliary 3127 at Chaffee.
Survivors include two sons, William Klipfel of Chaffee, Andrew Klipfel of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Anna Marie Klipfel of Chaffee; two sisters, Dorothy Dent of St. Louis, Elfrieda Sager of Farmers Branch, Texas; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran after 4 p.m. Friday. Parish prayers will be at 7, followed by Knights of Columbus prayers at 7:30.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Guardian Angel Church, with the Rev. John Harth officiating. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery.
