Marilyn Linder

DONGOLA, Ill. -- Funeral for Marilyn June Linder of Dongola will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Crain Funeral Home in Dongola. Stan Chism will officiate. Burial will be in Christian Chapel Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, and Thursday until time of service.

Linder, 61, died Sunday, March 3, 2002, at her home.

She was born April 16, 1940, in Dongola, daughter of Manford "Hap" and Maxine Johnson Perry. She first married Lannie Sheffer. She and Bobbie G. Linder were married Feb. 14, 1976. He died Nov. 23, 1991.

Linder worked in nursing homes and retired as a dietary manager. She was a member of Dongola Church of Christ.

Survivors include two daughters, Pam Olson and Dee Sheffer of Sandwich, Ill.; a son, Scott Sheffer of Sandwich; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant sister.
