Marilyn Jo Chapman, 59, 2451 Janet, died Monday, March 6, 1995, at her home. She was born May 23, 1935, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Odis L. and Lucille Pierce Seabaugh. She and Calvin Chapman were married March 1, 1957, in Cape Girardeau. Chapman was a 1953 graduate of Central High School. She worked at Boatmen's Bank Northwest the past 13 years, and was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church, Cape Girardeau Country Club and Women's Golf Association...

Marilyn Jo Chapman, 59, 2451 Janet, died Monday, March 6, 1995, at her home.

She was born May 23, 1935, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Odis L. and Lucille Pierce Seabaugh. She and Calvin Chapman were married March 1, 1957, in Cape Girardeau.

Chapman was a 1953 graduate of Central High School. She worked at Boatmen's Bank Northwest the past 13 years, and was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church, Cape Girardeau Country Club and Women's Golf Association.

She had been active in Girl Scouts, American Cancer Society, United Way, American Heart Association, Arthritis Foundation, was chairman of several committees for Heritage Ball, and held offices in Alma Schrader and Central Junior High PTAs. She participated in the former Jaycee Follies and Jaycee Wives. In 1972 she and her husband re-established the Braves and Squaws Annual Golf Tournament.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Chris Chapman of St. Charles; a daughter, Karen Chapman of Cape Girardeau; her mother, Lucille Seabaugh of Cape Girardeau, and a grandson.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Neil Stein officiating. Entombment will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum.
