Marilyn Josephine Elfrink, 81, of Dupo, Illinois, died Monday, Oct. 24, 2022, at Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born June 25, 1941, in Leopold, Missouri. She was married to Gerald Elfrink on May 12, 1962.
Marilyn loved spending time with Lani, Chase and the rest of her family. She loved going on the "white pant outings" with her sisters. She was a member of Sacred Heart Women's Club in Dupo and spent countless hours helping her parish.
Survivors include a daughter, Renee (Justin) Yamnitz of Ste. Genevieve, Missouri; grandchildren, Lani and Chase Yamnitz; four sisters, Norma (the late Ronald) Parker of Cape Girardeau, Evelyn (the late Stanley) Clippard of Jackson, Juliana (Greg) Comer of Sikeston, Missouri, and Virginia (David) Hahn of Oran, Missouri; and many wonderful nieces and nephews
Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Elfrink; mother, Josephine Rose Beussink; father, John Henry Beussink; and an infant brother.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Zell, Missouri.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, at the church, with the Rev. Paul Wienhoff officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
