PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Marie Weiss, 88, of Perryville died Thursday, June 28, 2001, at Perry County Nursing Home.
She was born Nov. 27, 1912, at Fornfelt, Mo., daughter of Oscar and Edith Allen King. She and Roland Weiss were married April 13, 1940. He died Nov. 20, 1988.
Weiss had been a beautician. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and Ladies of Charity.
Survivors include three daughters, Mary Gisi of St. Charles, Mo., JoAnne L'Hote and Helen Reed of Perryville; a sister, LaVina McCormick of Leesburg, Fla.; two stepsisters, Gertrude Smith of Savannah, Ga., Anna Smith of San Mateo, Fla.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, a sister, and a stepbrother.
Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday and 6:30 to 9:40 a.m. Monday. The wake will be at 7 p.m. Sunday.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Vincent's Church with the Rev. Kevin Fausz officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
