JACKSON -- Marie L. Lichtenegger, 88, of Jackson died Monday, Nov. 30, 1998, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Jan. 18, 1910, at Pocahontas, daughter of Andreas H. and Ida Wallmann Koeberl. She and Arthur Theodore Lichtenegger were married April 3, 1932, at Pocahontas. He died March 15, 1993.
Lichtenegger was a lifelong member of St. John's Lutheran Church at Pocahontas, and was a charter member of its Ladies Aid.
Survivors include a son, Vernon Lichtenegger of Jackson; two daughters, Marjorie Leimer and Dorothy Leimer of Jackson; a sister, Hilda Ruehling of Jackson; a brother, Carl Koeberl of Jackson; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a great-stepgranddaughter.
She was preceded in death by a brother, a grandchild, and a great-grandchild.
Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. John's Church, with the Rev. John Kiehl officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
