MARIE LAWS

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Marie H. Laws, 80, of Perryville died Monday, July 23, 2001, at her home.

She was born Oct. 13, 1920, at St. Mary's, Mo., daughter of Joseph H. and Mary M. Burgee Adams. She and Vincent H. Laws were married Aug. 16, 1939. He died Nov. 12, 1995.

Survivors include a son, William Laws of Perryville; four daughters, Joan Tebbe of Byron, Calif., Pat Johnston and Donna Erwin of Irvine, Calif., Brenda Lorraine of Steelville, Mo.; a brother, Ralph Adams of Morganza, La.; a sister, Mildred Adkins of Napierville, Ill.; 15 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons and six brothers.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. today, and Friday from 6:30-9:40 a.m. A prayer service will be held at 7 tonight.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. The Rev. Kevin Fausz will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
