SCOTT CITY, Mo. -- Marie F. Glass Johnson, 93, of Scott City died Monday, Nov. 5, 2001, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Dec. 30, 1907, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Charles D. and Bertha Dunnigan Frazier. She first married Martin Glass July 8, 1925, who preceded her in death. She later married Harry "Jack" Johnson, who also preceded her in death.
Johnson worked at Brown's Shoe Fit in Cape Girardeau. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Scott City.
Survivors include a son, Gawayne "Sonny" Glass of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Mary Ellen Dover of Cape Girardeau; two stepsons, Kenneth Johnson of Cape Girardeau, Jack Johnson of Frankfurt, Ky.; 18 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, a sister, and a great-grandson.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. Terry Eades officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
