MARIE HOFFMAN

PERRYVILLE -- Marie H. Hoffman, 88, of Perryville died Saturday, Feb. 5, 2000, at the Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born Feb. 9, 1911, daughter of William M. and Caroline Behrle Probst. She and Leroy J. Hoffman were married Oct. 30, 1933. He died Sept. 18, 1985.

Hoffman retired as a seamstress with the International Shoe Company. She was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and a former member of the Daughters of Isabella Circle 365.

Survivors include a sister, Leona Rhodes of Perryville.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.

Friends may call from 5-9 p.m. today and from 6:30-9:40 a.m. Tuesday at Young and Sons Chapel. Parish Wake will be at 7 p.m. today, and the Rosary will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, with the Rev. Kevin Fausz officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
