EUREKA, Ill. -- Marie Hunsaker Hannum, 94, of Eureka and formerly of Cobden died Friday, Oct. 8, 1999, at the Apostolic Christian Home at Eureka.
She was born Sept. 30, 1905, at Green City, Mo., daughter of Charles and Lula Jane Sears Hunsaker. She and Percy J. Hannum were married Jan. 27, 1927. He died Sept. 19, 1983.
She was a member of the Free Methodist Church Light and Life at Lakeland, Fla. and a member of the Christian Women of America.
Survivors include five daughters, Percella Reese of Walnut Creek, Calif., Zelda Spoors of Cadillac, Mich., Lois Dillow of Anna, Rita Willeford of Creve Coeur and Evelyn Eckstein of Springfield, Mo.; four sons, James Hannum of Estacave, Ore., Willis Hannum of Sacramento, Calif., Lawrence Hannum of New Palastine, Ind., and the Rev. Harold Hannum of Spring, Texas; two sisters, Avena Vinn of Claremore, Okla., and Thelma McDaniel of Ponca City, Okla.; two brothers, Elmer Hunsaker of St. Elmo and Clifford Hunsaker of Kaufmas, Texas; 31 grandchildren; and 36 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, a great-grandson, two sisters and a brother.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and until funeral time Wednesday at the Crain Funeral Home at Anna.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Cindy Mahnke will officiate, with burial to follow at Pleasant Grove Memorial Park near Murphysboro.
