JACKSON -- Marie Headrick McClard, age 90, of Jackson, died April 22, 2000, at the Jackson Manor. She was born Sept. 12, 1909, in Gordonville, daughter of Otto and Lillie May Harmon Miller. She and Gilbert Headrick were married Aug. 17, 1925. He died March 17, 1978. She and Harlan McClard were married in 1984. He preceded her in death July 4, 1987.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Jackson many years, where she was active in the Sanctuary Class, Fidelis Class and the Joy Choir. She retired from the International Shoe Co. in Jackson after many years of work.
Survivors include: a son, Ralph Headrick of Jackson; a daughter, Virginia Moody of Jackson; a stepson, Rick McClard of Jackson, a stepdaughter, Cheryl Carder of Belleider, Ill.; two sisters, Louise Nickerson of Saugerties, N.Y., and Edna Mae Allen of Jackson; a grandson, Rodney Reynolds of St. Louis; two great-grandsons, Burt and Chad Reynolds of St. Louis; three stepgrandsons, Lance and Ryan McClard, both of Jackson, and Dale Carder of Belleider, Ill.; and one step-granddaughter, Elizabeth Carder of Belleider, Ill.
She was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson. The funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral chapel, with Rev. Brian Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society or First Baptist Church of Jackson.
