MARIE FLUEGGE

JACKSON -- Marie Fluegge, 89, of Jackson, died Monday, Nov. 21, 1994, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Nov. 5, 1905, in Tilsit, daughter of William B. and Bertha Voshage Best. She and Otto Fluegge were married Nov. 27, 1927. He died April 23, 1994.

Fluegge had been a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church since 1968.

Survivors include three daughters, Melba Allen of Cape Girardeau, Dorothy Poston of Jackson, Shirley Childers of Thebes, Ill.; eight grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, two brothers and four sisters.

Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home from 5-9 p.m. Thursday.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. David Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.
