JONESBORO, Ill. -- Marie Davie, 81, of Jonesboro died Friday, Jan. 8, 1999, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. She was born Aug. 2, 1917, in Union County to Daniel and Victoria Kohrman Davie. She had been a member of Ware United Methodist Church and the First Baptist Church of Jonesboro. She was a member of St. John's Homemakers Unit and the Anna-Jonesboro Women's Club...

JONESBORO, Ill. -- Marie Davie, 81, of Jonesboro died Friday, Jan. 8, 1999, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Aug. 2, 1917, in Union County to Daniel and Victoria Kohrman Davie.

She had been a member of Ware United Methodist Church and the First Baptist Church of Jonesboro. She was a member of St. John's Homemakers Unit and the Anna-Jonesboro Women's Club.

She was a retired purchasing clerk for the U.S. Forest Service.

She is survived by two brothers, Howard Davie of Ware and Joe Davie of Normal.

Three brothers preceded her in death.

Visitation will be Monday from 9 to 11 a.m.

Service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna. The Revs. John Prather and Joe Aldridge will officiate. Burial will follow in Anna Cemetery.
