MARIE CRITES

JACKSON -- Marie Crites, 83, of Jackson, died Thursday, Dec. 17, 1992, at Jackson Manor.

She was born Feb. 25, 1909, at Mountain View, Ark., daughter of James and Bonnie Huckabe Bagby. She married Clarence Crites, who died Nov. 15, 1992.

Crites was a retired salesclerk, and member of First Baptist Church at Oak Ridge.

Survivors include two sons, Harold Thurman of Little Rock, Ark., Kenneth Thurman of Selina, Okla.; a sister, Irene Merritt of St. Louis; 10 grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather, a brother and four sisters.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Young and Sons Funeral Chapel in Perryville. The Rev. Jeff Meletti will officiate, with burial in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery at Crosstown.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 3-9 p.m. today, and after 6:30 a.m. Saturday.
