DEXTER, Mo. -- Marie Coffey, 92, of Dexter died Wednesday, May 16, 2001, at Vintage Villa Nursing Center.
She was born Feb. 5, 1909, at Doniphan, Mo., daughter of Charles C. and Lilly Jane Doyle Worley. She and Orville Coffey were married Dec. 14, 1929, at Piggott, Ark.
Coffey was a teacher in rural schools of Dexter, Essex and Parma, Mo. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Bob Coffey of Dexter; a daughter, Janie Caby of Kansas City, Mo.; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call at Rainey Funeral Home in Dexter from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Wayne Dismuke and Don Kennedy officiating. Burial will be in Dexter Cemetery.
