CHAFFEE -- Graveside service for Marie M. Boyts of Chaffee will be at 10 a.m. today at Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau. The Rev. Watis Harrell will officiate.

There is no visitation.

Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel at Chaffee is in charge of arrangements.

Boyts, 100, died Monday, June 21, 1999, at Advance Nursing Care Center.

She was born May 26, 1899, at Puxico, daughter of John Wesley and Dona Steward Harbin. She and John Boyts were married Oct. 22, 1919. He died July 9, 1970.

Boyts was a member of First Baptist Church, VFW Auxiliary to Post 3127, Order of Eastern Star Chapter 48 and Ladies Society to Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen and Engineers.

Survivors include a son, Sterling Boyts of Chaffee; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, four brothers and two sisters.
