PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Marie E. Balsman, 82, of Perryville died Monday, Nov. 28, 2005, at Perry County Nursing Home. She was born July 25, 1923, at Brazeau, Mo., daughter of Fred and Della Sides Clary. She and Delmar W. Balsman were married Nov. 13, 1940, at Biehle, Mo. He preceded her in death...

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Marie E. Balsman, 82, of Perryville died Monday, Nov. 28, 2005, at Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born July 25, 1923, at Brazeau, Mo., daughter of Fred and Della Sides Clary. She and Delmar W. Balsman were married Nov. 13, 1940, at Biehle, Mo. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include a son, Melvin Balsman of Perryville; two daughters, Dorothy Martin and Bonnie Schremp of Perryville; a sister, Dorothy Polich of Northville, Mich.; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren, 12 great-stepgrandchildren, and 12 great-great-stepgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister.

Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, and Friday from 6:30 a.m. to service time.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Alphonse Hoernig officiating. Burial will be in St. Maurus Cemetery.
